Before Surfing Cowboys was a name above a door, it was a way of life. We followed our curiosity — from surf breaks and dance floors to back roads and flea markets, exploring, collecting, photographing, and always welcoming a new project.

We found beauty in things others overlooked, brought unlikely pieces together, and created a world around the things we loved. In Venice in 1995, that way of seeing and living became Surfing Cowboys®.

Today, our Malibu shop offers a taste of the world we've spent over three decades building — original goods made in Los Angeles, remarkable vintage finds, art, and objects selected with a photographer's eye and a collector's instinct.
