Wonderful 1940's kook box straight no nonsense paddleboard. 9' long, 16" wide, 3" deep. Marine ply, fiber glassed and painted a slightly lighter version of that classic green color seen in so many kitchens of the 40's with a 3/4" brown pinstripe. The paint has an amazing patina and wonderful weathering. It can be displayed with either or both sides showing as they are each stunning.

The description of the green paddle board w/ kook box has been updated.... I'm not shure who wrote that description but it is a lighter version of the classic 1930's-40's green seen in so many kitchens of the era.

Marine Ply varnished board, during the 1940's when fiberglass was invented surfers useed this new product to waterproof their wooden boards. During the 1950's this board was painted the color it is today. All this can be deducted from areas where the original ply shows through. In short this board shows its' history and that of modern day surfing. In short it is a gem.
